Call or email us stating that you are interested in getting an estimate. Do not drop by our shop as it is by appointment only (we are usually out of the shop working on-site or working with loud tools in the shop). Once we have a line of communication set-up we schedule a time for us to visit your house to measure and talk about your vision for design. Once we have measurements and an idea for railing design we will send an estimate via email. This can take 1-5 business days depending on the complexity of the project. After you accept the estimation of your railing project and want to move forward, we schedule another meeting in our shop to finalize material choices. If material choices change from what was originally estimated, then we would change the estimate during this meeting. Next, we would take payment for the railing materials as a deposit. Lastly, we would schedule you into our next available tentative slot in our schedule.

At GW Railings, we always do our best to decrease wait times for our interior railing installs. We have a first come, first serve policy where whoever books us next gets the next available slot on our install list. With that being said, some projects do need post-installation before our projected start date, and we are able to accommodate early post installation in the event that it is needed in order for the project to continue without disruption. We understand that disruptions can be costly and cause significant delays, so we always try to be as accommodating as possible.

We understand that each client has unique needs, and we work closely with our clients to ensure that their vision becomes a reality. For this reason, we recommend that our clients contact us early on in their renovation or new-build project. This way, it is easier to plan the installation schedule and avoid potential disruptions. However, we understand that not all projects follow this timeline. If you are late in contacting us, don't worry - we have worked with many clients who are in the same situation. We will work with you to find a solution that meets your needs and ensures a seamless installation.

Yes, we offer material supply services where after purchase we will have your railing material ready for install within 4-8 weeks. Upon picking up the material we will have one of our railing installers go through some of the details and answer any questions you have about install. If you require further assistance on site you can hire one our installers to help with install and/or guide you in the right direction. We are always willing to offer helpful tips and tricks so that your experience is as seamless as possible. Our team takes great pride in their work and it shows in every finished product.

If your railing is looking worn out, it may be time for an update. Check the stability of the railing by tugging on the posts to see if they are loose. If they are, it's time for a new railing. Also check to see if the railing is filleted. If so, see if any spindles are loose or rattling. If you have loose posts or spindles, it's time to update your railing. For safety, it's important to make sure that your railing is stable and secure. A new railing will give your home a fresh look and provide peace of mind knowing that it is safe.
